ASAP

Psa 1:1-2 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.”

John 8:31 “… If you abide in my Word, you are Truly my Disciple.”

ASAP is a way to do Daily Devotion (Meditating the Word of God).


A = Asking in PRAYER

- Pray that Holy Spirit will reveal your heart condition (For confession of sins)

      Psa 139:23 "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!"

-   Pray for the Holy Spirit to Open up your Spiritual eyes.

    Psalms 119:18 "Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.” 

-   Pray for the willingness to obey His commands.
    John 7:17 “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know...”

S = Scripture

  1. Read all the scheduled Verses (Logos. for Context)

  2. Write down the verse (s) that jump at you (RHEMA)

 

A = Application   

Write down (physically on your journal). What does the Lord tell you about WHO HE IS?

What does the Holy Spirit speak to you? How does He teach, convict, and correct you? 

How you can apply what you just heard from the Holy Spirit to your own personal life? 

What adjustments do you need to make? Is there an action (starting with ‘baby steps’) that you need to take ASAP? 


P = Prayer in Writing

Write down your prayer to the Lord. Give Him Thanksgiving, Confession of Sin, Describe the contents of your dedication.
